Glen Simpson
Memorial services for Glen Simpson , 74, of Longview will be 10 AM Saturday, August 2nd at the First Christian Church, 710 N. 6th St. with Dr. Jim Lewis officiating. Mr. Simpson died Wednesday morning at his residence.
He was born January 19, 1932 at Daisy, Tennessee to Ernest and Cordie Simpson. A former resident of Killeen, Mr. Simpson had resided in Longview for 13 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was a retired First Sergeant with the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Simpson of Longview; Sons, Rick Vincent of Bryan, Texas and Nick Vincent of McPherson, Kansas; Daughter, Deborah Morgan of Diana; Brothers, J.O. Simpson of Winchester, Tennessee, Gordon Simpson of Hixson, Tennessee, Wayne Simpson of Winchester, Tennessee, and Harold Simpson of Alabama; sister, Carolyn Minor of Sunrise, Florida; 12 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Property Fund at the First Christian Church of Longview.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. Friday evening 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
