Today is the first that I heard of Glen's passing and I wanted you know how sorry I am. Since the deaths of mother and daddy I don't seem to get any news of their friends that we grew up with. About the time of Glen's death I was actually trying to find ya'll's phone number, but there was no listing in Longview for ya'll. Glen was a mentor to me during my days as an officer at Input/Output. I will never forget the numerous pieces of advice he gave me in dealing with various situations as they arose. His advice and words of encouragement helped me through many difficult times. Unfortunately, I learned about his passing away several weeks after his service. I will truely never forget Glen Denison.

I'm a couple days late reading the paper so did not make it to the funeral. I have tried to think of ways to describe Glen Denison for years. The length of the obit. adds credit that a few words won't suffice. However, two simple words mean a lot to me "a Friend."

May the Peace of god be with your family. I'll keep the bugs away.

Dear Mary, We are sorry for your loss and would like to send you our condolences at this time. Mr. Denison was at times a hard man to work for, but he was fair and you always knew where you stood in his light. He was from the old school, such as John Kelley, and my father, Joe Tuttle who spent many years working along side your husband. I have been very fortunate to have worked for your husband, and those who shared such a great work place such as Axelson! It was, and always will be family to me. I have been lucky enough to have been influenced by such great men as Joe, Glen, John, Gay, James, Tommy, Dewey, Charlie, and so many from the Axelson family. Glenn and I were in school together at U.T. Myra Jo Sheffield worked with Tiny and knew Maudie well. We both have fond memories of Glenn.

Mary,
I was so sorry to read about Glen although through many friends of ours I was keeping up with his illness. It is with a sadden heart that I send my condolences to you but know that he is in a much better place and out of pain. I met Glen in the late 80's as he stayed at a Hotel where I was in management and I will always recall how the red carpet was always put out for Mr. Dennison. In 1990 he looked me up, I was in Florida, and offered me a job with Axelson. Thanks to him and his trust in me he gave me my career in the Oil and Gas Industry. When Dresser bought out Axelson it was a very sad time when he left for me personnally. I always knew where I stood with Mr. Dennison as he was one to let you know. He will be truly missed by many but especially by his family that he loved so dearly.
May God Bless you Mary and give you the strength during this time of need.
