Gladys Mae Roehr's Obituary
Gladys Mae Roehr was born in Wichita Falls, TX on July 5, 1934 and passed away in Longview, TX this past Monday, June 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents; Ola and Ernest Schrib and her husband for 20 years Vaughn Roehr. She is survived by her son Curtis Cavin and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gladys graduated from Gladewater High and went on to be a Nurse for over 50 years, spending 35 of those years working for Dr. ND Riddle. She loved to garden and work in her yard, but most of all she loved to travel with her husband Vaughn. They traveled all over the world and most especially loved to visit the islands of Hawaii. She was a wonderful woman and will be truly missed.
A graveside service will be held for Gladys Thursday, July 3 at Rosewood Park Mausoleum at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. There will be a visitation the night prior to the service at Rader Funeral Home in Longview between 6 and 8pm.
