Gladys Ann Herberger's Obituary
Gladys Ann Herberger, age 68, of White Oak, Texas passed away July 17, 2019. She was born March 14, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to Alvin and Lucille Jackson. Later the family moved to the Spring Hill area of Longview where Gladys graduated from Spring Hill High School. She was a very active person enjoying many activities such as the Longview Tennis League and was an avid bowler. Gladys was a hard-working person but sadly due to illness she had to retire this past January from Telco Plus Credit Union after 28 years of faithful service. She was of the Baptist faith and a faithful member to several Baptist churches through her life. In her later years she enjoyed the Life Group at New Beginnings Baptist Church. Anyone that knew Gladys knew she loved life and her precious grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter Tracy Bailey and her husband Stephen, two grandchildren Emily and Jack, one sister, Grace Mason, three half-sisters, Nancy, Virginia and Betty and two nieces Wendy Emmel and Crystal Molina.
Gladys’s husband, Del Herberger, her parents and one brother all precede her in passing.
Funeral services for Gladys will be in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Monday, July 22, 2019 starting at 2pm with her son-in-law Pastor Stephen Bailey officiating. Following services interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation starting one hour prior to services.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the ladies Life Group at New Beginnings, Heartsway Hospice and Rader Funeral Home for all their concern, love and support.
