Funeral services for Ginger Lane Shipp, 47, of Longview will be held at Two O?clock pm Wednesday September 27, 2006 at the New Beginnings Baptist Church with Reverend Dick Stagner officiating. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Shipp passed away Monday September 25, 2006 in Longview.
She was born September 13, 1959 in Longview, Texas. She had resided in Longview all of her life and was a Lab technician at Primary Care Associates.
She is survived by her husband Doug Peterson, of Longview, children, Joseph Hewitt and wife Ivy of Whitehouse, Matthew Shipp of White Oak Amanda Beeman and husband Russell of White Oak.; grandchildren, Corgan Hewitt, Dax Beeman, and Karice Beeman, father, Dewey Townsend of Longview, mother, Rosalie Fisher of Longview, four sisters, Vickie Townsend, Carol Dusey, Jeanie Barnett, Lisa Desautels, four brothers, Glenn Townsend, Tim Irby, William Irby and Billy Gates.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
