Gilbert B Brook, III's Obituary
Funeral services for Gilbert B. Brook, III, of Longview, will be 2 PM Wednesday at the Gum Springs Christian Church with Gilbert B. Brook, IV and Reverend Randy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Gum Springs Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6 to 8 PM at Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Brook died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital.
A native of Maryville, Tennessee, he was born November 14, 1947 and had lived in Longview for the past 36 years. He was a production assistant at Texas Eastman and was a member of the Hallsville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife: Ann of Longview, sons: Gilbert B. Brook, IV and wife Shelli of Longview, Christopher Everett Brook of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Patrick Lee Brook of Longview; daughter: Rebecca Ann Tutor and husband William of Longview; brother: Scott Brook of Roswell, NM; sisters: Midge Odom of Pritchett, TX, Valorie Caudle of Hillsboro, TX, and Tracy Crawford of Springer, NM; Eleven 11 grandchildren.
