Memorial services for Gertrude "Trudy" Frances Tyler, 40, and Jonathan Harley Rodgers, 17, both of Hallsville, will be 2 PM Saturday, March 15, 2003 , ath the Hope Fellowship Church, 300 Hollybrook, with Pastor Ben Andrus officiating.
Trudy and Jonathan both died at their residence.
Trudy was born April 18, 1962 in Torrington, Wyoming to Harley and Carol Sage. She had lived most of her life in the Longview-Hallsville area. She was attending LeTourneau University as a math major and was a math tutor.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Tiffany Tyler, Pashence Tyler and Brandon Tyler; mother, Mrs. Carol Morgan of Longview; sister, Michelle Jackson of Longview; stepsisters,
Jennifer Ferguson of Gladewater, Vernonica Moore of Seattle, WA, Angie Estill of Seattle, WA; brothers, Frank and Robert Sage, both of Florida; a number of nieces and nephews including, Troy, Lindsi, Julie Jackson and Heather Ferguson.
Jonathan was born October 4, 1985 in Longview to Trudy and Kenneth Rodgers. He was a junior at Hallsville High School. He is survived by his father, Kenneth Rodgers; grandmother, Mrs. Carol Morgan; aunts, Michelle Jackson and family, Jennifer Ferguson and family; uncles Frank and Bob Sage; sister, Krystle Rodgers.
