Funeral services for Gerelda Crain, 77, of Longview, will be 10 AM Monday, May 10, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, May 9, 2004, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crain was born on November 24, 1926 in Missouri, to Richard and Audra Mulanax. She passed away on May 6, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
A Longview resident since 1971, Mrs. Crain worked in clothing assembly for Kilgore Manufacturing, was a longtime member of the Gregg Art Guild, and a member of the Assembly of God Evangel Temple.
A loving mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Crain was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earnest ?E.W.? Crain; sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and J.D. ?Red? Warrick, and brothers, Roy and Coy Mulanax. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Larry Smith of Alvin, Cheryl and Richard Hodges of Union Grove, Debra and Randy Gates of Woodville, Lisa Stockton of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Jarol Ray and Michelle Walls of Hallsville, thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester and Lethie Mulanax of Kilgore, and Virgil and Lynda Mulanax of Bandera.
