Dearest Cathy, Jenni, and Chelsea: Our thoughts and prayers have been with you these past several weeks. One of my memories of Gerard is when we moved Megan and Jenni into their shared dorm room at TCU their freshman year. What fun we all had to see our daughters happily settled into their new home. Gerard was such a wonderful dad, husband and member of the community. He will be missed.

Dearest Cathy,Jenni,Chelsea,& Staff at Johnny Cace's, My heart goes out to you with all the Love & Prayers. Gerard was a perfect,husband,father, and one of the best bosses I have ever had.
When I got the call that he had been called to Heaven My heart broke and I began to pray for all of you. I only wish that I could have been there in Longview to be there with you all. Cathy, Jenni & Chelsea,
Words cannot express the sympathy we feel for you and all Gerards family. Gerard never met a stranger & as everyone will say, he was such a true gentleman, and really will be missed in so many ways. Some of my personal fondest memories of when we lived in Longview was working the catering events with you. It was truly such fun. We have been gone from Longview for some years, but some people you do not forget. God bless you all.
