Cryptside services for Geraldine M. ?Jeri? Brandon, 96, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Thursday, July 1, 2004 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.
Mrs. Brandon was born in Chattanooga, OK., December 21, 1907, to E.A. Martin and Mary V. Sandusky Martin. She passed away on Friday, June 25, 2004 at her residence. She grew up in Chattanooga, OK., and after graduating from High School attended Business College in Wichita Falls. She worked for an oil company as an Executive Secretary. She married C.P. Brandon of Elgin, OK on February 2, 1930 in Wichita Falls. He died December 11, 2003 in Longview. She worked for years as a Buyer for several department stores. In 1955, she and her husband moved to Longview where she owned and operated Jeri?s Dress Shop for many years. She and Porter traveled extensively around the world.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, parents, and one brother, Claude Martin of Chattanooga, OK.; two sisters, Eva Pyeatt & Aurora Etheridge of Big Springs; and one nephew, Quinten Martin. She is survived by three great nephews, George Martin of Alpine, CA., David Martin and his wife Irene of Faxon, OK., and Bob Martin and his wife Jo of Cache, OK., and many grand nephews and nieces.
