Our daughters, Laura and Julie, still remember Ms. Honey and Uncle Earl. She was the best in ministering to Preschoolers and their families. Could always count on her to be in her place, prepared and on time. A few months ago, we were in Longview and had an opportunity to visit her in the nursing home. Even after we have been gone from Longview for 35 years, she still remembered us and we had a delightful visit. We will be forever grateful for her ministry and love to our family. Richard, Judy and Julia, thank you for sharing your mom with us all these years. She has blessed more people than you will ever know.

Mrs. Honey has been a long-time church friend, whom I love dearly. She tenderly cared for my children in the nursery, when the church was located in S. Longview. What an example of a Christian lady she has always been. She definitely had "the peace that passes all understanding", and was never ashamed to witness her faith in God. We worked together for many years in Mission Friends with 4-5 year olds, and those children witnessed the love of Christ given through this fine Christian lady. Heaven is sweeter knowing she is there.

Ms Honey and Mr Earl loved the children and families of Mobberly so well. A special trip to Glorietta on the Bluebird bus with them stands out in my mind. Mae, Genelle, Niell, Lillian, Sue, Joy and many others went for a preschool retreat. Ms Honey lead many children and their parents to Jesus with her life, stories, and songs. I am so thankful that generations of Mobberly families have known this precious woman.

Talk about a life well-lived! Mrs. Honey taught me more about preschool ministry and the "cradle roll" than I can even remember. Her faithfulness in teaching and loving preschoolers and their families cannot be counted. Honey loved me---this I know. Julia, Judy and all the rest---thank you so much for sharing your mother with all of us. I loved her like a mother---for that she was--for the years I was in Longview. I know she is dancing on the clouds of heaven and praising Jesus with all her worth! Blessings on you all.

Our sweet Honey--how we will all miss your sweet smile and precious heart. There are so many children who have felt your tender care and heard you tell them about the love of Jesus. You were a force to be reckoned with in your own gentle way, and taught us all about love. I'm so thankful for you. You influenced me as few others in my life of ministry.

To the family--I know that you will miss her most of all, of course. But what a heritage you have! She was one of the most amazing women I've ever met. There are few at Mobberly whose names could be mentioned with more love and reverence. But of course, as she would rightly say, all the praise goes to her Lord. She loved Him more than life, and now she sees him face to face. I was privileged to know her, work with her, and let her help me raise my little boys. I am so grateful.

What a well loved lady. We were neighbors of the Hudgins family for a while as well as members of Mobberly together. I will never forget that in her 90s, just a few years ago Ms. Honey remembered my name when saw each other. A very special
