Georgia Louise Jacobs' Obituary
Funeral services for Georgia Louise Jacobs 86, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 18, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Joe Hancock of the Hallsville Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery under direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, December 17, 2004 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jacobs was born on August 11, 1918 in Marion, Illinois to Charles and Lillie LaTurno.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mrs. Jacobs was preceded in death by her husband, William Jacobs; daughter, Nancy Betts; son-in-law, Gary Betts; daughter, Glenda Van Blaricom; and two infant sons, George William and Joe Michael Jacobs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Walter E. and Linda Jacobs of Longview; grandchildren, Deborah Brown and her husband James of Hallsville, Earl Betts and his wife Minnette of College Station, Gary D. Betts, Jr., of Longview, Brian Wright and his wife Bronwyn of Denton, Jerry Van Blaricom and his wife Deanna of Frisco, Cindy Van Blaricom of Longview, Eric Jacobs and his wife Vicki of Hallsville, Chris Jacobs of Longview; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Rose DuBose of Longview; and brother, Joe LaTurno of Indiana. Her six grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
