Uncle George was such a precious person to me. He would come through Abilene while making his rounds for Safeway, and we got to see him often. I would be a pianist today if he hadn't opened my eyes with his love for the "fiddle." I started playing on one of his smaller violins in the 5th grade, switched to the cello the next year, and now make my living at it. How different my life would've been without his influence! Now, he's with his beloved forever, and I can't wait to see them both again someday. Much love to the whole family!
