George Ronald Welch, known to his friends and family as "Ron” or “Ronnie”, passed peacefully from this earth on March 15, 2020 at the age of 73. He is now rejoicing as he stands healed in the presence of his Heavenly Father. Ron Read Obituary

Ron had a great mathematical mind. I was always amazed at how he could calculate in his head faster than someone using a calculator. I worked with him for almost 20 years and considered him a great Christian man. As a young Christian, he was always there to talk to regarding Christian beliefs. Ron was a great water works professional who endeared to his staff the great responsibility we had as water operators to protect the public health. Ron was always a leader in whatever needed to be accomplished. I know Ron is now in heaven understanding the mysteries of God. Brother, I’ll see again one day.

Ron has been a special friend my entire life. We have been going to Little Mexico restaurant on a weekly basis for many years and shared similar views. My thoughts and prayers go out to Ron’s family and many friends. Rest In Peace my friend.
