George Michael "Mike" Crawford's Obituary
Memorial services for George Michael ?Mike? Crawford, 60, of Longview will be 2 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Reverend Lance Ray Larrison officiating. The family will receive friends following services.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mike was born December 21, 1946 in Gladewater, TX to George and Lee Crawford and died Sunday morning at his residence.
Mr. Crawford served his country in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam, and was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. Mike worked as a self employed private process server for the last 16 years, and was previously employed as a juvenile probation officer for Gregg County for 21 years.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, George Francis Crawford, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Crawford of Longview; son, Michael Crawford, Jr. and wife, Donna of Austin; grandchildren, Deanna Lee Crawford and George Aaron Crawford, both of Austin; stepsons, Wade Winningham of Frisco, TX and Barry Winningham of Longview, TX; and his mother, Lee Crawford of Longview.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to HeartsWay Hospice, 1306 Pine Tree Road, Longview, Texas 75604.
