Memorial services for George Leonard Dupree, Jr. of Longview, will be held Saturday, April 26, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., at 9:30 AM. George was born July 7, 1936 in Ruston, LA. He had lived in Longview for 26 years, was a member of First Baptist Church of Hallsville, and proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp for four years.His pastor, Dr. David Massey will officiate with Monty Pierce officiating at the graveside.Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by his father, George Leonard Dupree, Sr. and mother Mildred, and infant son, George Craig Dupree.Survivors include, wife, LuBeth Dupree; daughters, Michelle Saterbo and husband, Bobby, Emily Erickson and husband, Tim; son, Trey and wife, Theresa; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Phillips of Truckee, CA and Allan Pierce; brother, Keith Dupree of New Orleans, LA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
