George Lee Baird's Obituary
Services for George L. Baird, 68, of Longview is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas. Entombment will follow in Memory Park Mausoleum. Mr. Baird died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at his residence.
George L. Baird was born May 15, 1942, to Opal and Joe D. Baird in Longview, Texas. Mr. Baird spent many years working in the pawn shop business and enjoyed every moment of it with great dedication and enthusiasm.
He is survived by his son, Michael Baird of Costa Rica; daughter, Krista Shaw, of Longview; granddaughter, Erika Shaw; grandson, Trent Shaw; great-grandson, Benjamin Shaw, all of Kilgore, Texas; sister, JoAnn Caruth of Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5 p.m. t o 7 p.m.
