Dear Sharon and family.
George was such a gentle giant who led Longview- Gregg County Retired Teachers for many years. It was my honor to serve with him. He was compassionate, loyal, and truly walked the walk of a Christian. Being members of Greggton Methodist we knew him there as well. I will miss his smiling face, devotion, and leadership. Uncle George is very much loved by the Pugnetti’s in AZ. We had been able to have yearly reunions with him & his different companions (brother Robert, Son-in-law James, Grandson & Grandaughter (Thomas & Faith), daughter Robin, and Aunt Sharon, thanks to his love of baseball and the Texas Rangers! We looked forward to his yearly spring training trips to immerse himself in the games and to meet up and have a long visit over dinner at Fuddruckers! He will be sorely missed but I am so happy to have had him in my and my family’s life over these years. He will continue to be a part of our thoughts and fond memories…especially during baseball season:) With love, Ed, Shanah, Angelo & Marino
