George James Mikle
A rosary will be recited for George James Mikle, 77, of Longview at 12 noon, Monday, January 6, 2003 at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:30 PM with Father Mark Dunne officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road.
He was born in Mays Landing, N.J. on August 15, 1925 to Paul and Ann Mikle. He passed away on Saturday evening, January 4, 2003 in a Longview hospital. He was a graduate of UCLA, a resident of Longview since 1981, worked for Atlantic Richfield ARCO and was a member of St. Anthony?s Catholic Church. He also served his country as a Major with the United States Marine Corp. in WWII, and Korea.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Mikle was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Yen Mikle of Longview, sons and daughter-in-law, Phi and U.T. Mikle of Longview, George James Mikle, Jr., and grandchild, Jamie Mikle of Longview.
