Funeral services for George C. Hall, 80, of Longview will be held at Pine Tree Church of Christ on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. George will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview following the funeral services. George passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 surrounded by his family.
George was born in Wardville, OK to Lewis Clyde “L.C.” and Lucile Hall on September 29, 1940. He attended school and received a degree in plumbing and refrigeration from OSU. He married Ella Adams on September 10, 1960 in Durant OK. His first job took he and his family to El Paso, Texas where he worked and owned H and H Plumbing and Refrigeration. After 11 years in El Paso he moved his family to Longview, Texas. His career consisted of owning and operating a construction company and retiring from owning Pine Tree Motors.
George was a long-time member of the Pine Tree Church of Christ. He loved his church and church family. He never missed a chance to talk about the Lord to everyone he met.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Hall; parents “L.C.” and Lucile Hall; brother and sister-in-law Frank and Mavis Hall; and brother Charles Boone Hall.
Those left to cherish their memories of George include his children Donna Stagner and husband Scott of White Oak TX, and Robert Hall of Diana TX; grandchildren Skylar Stagner and wife Melissa, Spenser Stagner and wife Roci, Trevor Stagner and wife Allison, Tyson Hall and Tara Hall; great-grandchildren Allie Toot, Sadie Stagner, Leighton Stagner, Ellison Stagner, Jaxon Stagner, Savannah Stagner, Emery Stagner, and Evan Vargas; and his brother Lewis Dean Hall of Wardville, OK and a very special friend Gladine Clements. George will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and many dear and loved friends.
