Dear Pat,
We all have so many wonderful memories of George. I will always remember all the paperwork it took to give your deed to the lake. I learned so much reading through those old files. George was always the peace maker....seemed he was always appointed to go talk to Shorty to settle the road problems.
I still tell people about the high water mark on the boathouse from the 1959 and 1989 floods. You both shared so much of our Lake history with me, and I thank you for all the friends you sent my way. We had a lot of fun here on the pond...great memories for us all.
Having done this two years ago, I know how hard it is to give them up, so call me if I can help you get through this difficult time.
