Geneva Ladell Copeland's Obituary
Funeral services for Geneva Ladell Copeland, 85, of Longview, will be 10 AM Monday, December 26, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend John Glasgow officiating. The family will greet friends from 9 to 10 AM Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be 12 Noon Tuesday in Elbert, Texas.
Ms. Copeland went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, December 21, at a local hospital.
A native of Elbert, Texas, she was born September 1, 1926 to Clara Bell Smith and William Riley Copeland. She was a retired secretary in manufacturing industry. Geneva was a member of the First Baptist Church, Longview.
Ms. Copeland was preceded in death by her parents and a brother C. B. Cope Copeland. Those left to cherish her memory are her niece and nephew: Glenn and Janet Copeland of White Oak, TX, sister-in-law, Violet Copeland of Longview, great niece Shelby Skeen and husband Nathan of White Oak, great nephews Clay Copeland and wife Tara of Longview and Scott Copeland of White Oak, TX and great grand nephew, Travis Lee Copeland.
