Gene Hollamon May's Obituary
Funeral services for Gene Hollamon May, age 81 of Henderson will be held Tuesday November 3, 2009 at 10:00am in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Bruce James officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park
Mr. May passed away Saturday October 31, 2009 in a local nursing facility.
Gene May was born January 26, 1928 in Jackson, Tenn. To Admiral Dewey and Mary May. He was a member of the Hwy 79 Church of Christ. He retired from May Industrial after 31 years of service. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; John May, and Wallace May, and sisters June May and Allah Jo May.
Mr. May is survived by his wife Alice T. May whom he married April 9, 1950 in Jackson, Tenn.; sons Steven DeWayne May of Wharton, and Darrell Gene May of Henderson.; daughter Sharon Marie May of Overton.; brothers Jack May & wife Wanda, Dennis May & wife Becky all of Jackson, Tenn., and Norman May of Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Bailey, Bruce Pierce, Michael Haun, Butch Pierce, Mike Kinsey, and Richard Maxwell.
Visistation will be from 6 ~ 8pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
