Gayle Diane Weddle of Athens Ohio, Gained her angel wings at the age of 74 on July 24th 2022 in Longview, TX. Diane entered into this marvelous world on December 8th 1947 to Jack Quest a veteran of WW2 and Edith Quest a department store worker. Diane found her soulmate Danny Weddle and married on June 8th 1968, later on in life they were blessed with their two sons, Kevin and Scott Weddle.
Some of Diane’s hobbies were thrift shopping, cooking for family and friends and attending garage sales. Diane always made sure to never miss an episode of American Idol. Diane’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quality of time that she stayed here on earth. Not a day went by where Diane didn’t cherish the time spent and memories made with friends, family and her two fur babies Molly and Sapphire. Many people would say Diane’s occupation was a homemaker but to her two sons she was “Mom”. Diane was known to put others needs ahead of her own. Diane’s family was arguably her most important achievement in life, especially her two grandchildren Maddison and Kelsie who she held dear to her heart.
Diane was preceded in death by: Danny Weddle (Husband), Jack and Edith Quest (Father and Mother), Wanda Dean (Sister), and Jerry Quest (Brother).
