Funeral services for Gayle Renee Barnes, 67, of Longview, will be at 10 a.m., Friday May 14, 2010, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery following services. Mrs. Barnes passed away on May 11, 2010, in Longview. Mrs. Barnes was born July 26, 1942, in Longview, and was a Pine Tree High School graduate. She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabell Edelman; husband, David Barnes; and grandson, Justin Michael Polk. She is survived by her father, Howard Edelman; three sons, Charles Barnes, Heath Barnes and wife Tanya, and Michael Barnes and wife Heather; one daughter, Christy and husband Mark Polk; and grandchildren, Heath and Taylor Polk, Britney Couch Barnes, Bobby and Chris McIntosh, and Braden and Sydney Barnes. She will be missed by many friends and family.
