Funeral Services for Gay Veta Pratt, 95, of Longview will be held at noon Friday, March 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Morris Ivey and Reverend Edgar Ayala officiating. Entombment will follow at Memory P Read Obituary
Ms. Pratt was one of our customers at State Farm (Carl Barton)...she was so much fun to visit with after she warmed up to me. She would stay on me about different things and joked around with us every time she came in. I left the agency about 4 years ago but thought about her a lot! She was one tough cookie for sure and she made a lasting impact on me for sure. May God wrap his arms around the family giving them comfort. She was definitely one of kind!
Glenda and Devonia----I was so saddened to read of Veta's passing---I have such fond memories of the time we were neighbors, the times she would 'fix' my hair, the times you'll kept Melinda when I worked---the times all the neighbors would get together on Saturdays and make ice cream---all the fun times we had as neighbors.
