Gary E. Alfred
Funeral services for Gary E. Alfred, 56, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2007 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Reverend Steve Cochran officiating. Interment will be in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Thursday, January 11 in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Alfred was born August 11, 1950 in Longview to George and Dorothy Alfred and had been a resident of Hallsville most of his life. He was a retired machinist from LeTourneau Manufacturing, Inc. Mr. Alfred was a very active member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters and son-in-law, Kristy Alfred Walters and husband Pete, and April Alfred all of Hallsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Sandy Alfred of Keller, TX, and Randy and Betty Alfred of Hallsville; grandchildren, Amber and Kelton Walters, and Dalton Fenton; several nieces and nephews.
