Gary Andrew Applewhite's Obituary
Graveside services for Gary Andrew Applewhite, 59, of Longview, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Memory Park in the Mausoleum. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Applewhite passed away Friday night in a local hospital. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Gary was born in Longview on October 27, 1957 to Lawrence and Evelyn Applewhite. After graduating from Pine Tree high school in 1976, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a licensed plumber. Gary loved going to San Antonio to visit his brother and sister-in-law, and they loved going to the Buckhorn. He was a big fan of NASCAR, and the Dallas Cowboys. Gary loved the holidays, especially Thanksgiving, and loved spending time with his family. He loved his family, was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife Debbie Applewhite. Those left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law Larry and Jessica Applewhite; sister and brother-in-law Sherry and John Turner; brother and sister-in-law Larry Wayne and Margaret Applewhite; grandchildren Carter Brannon and J.D. Barber; nephew Brian Burrow and wife Melissa and great nieces Lily, Evelyn and great nephew Texas.
