Gary Alan Tillery's Obituary
Gary Alan Tillery passed away October 26, 2003 at his home in Charlotte, N.C.. He was born in San Antonio, TX on June 2, 1946. Gary graduated from Brownsville High School in Brownsville, TX and later attended Texas A & M. He had recently retired from 1st Union Bank in Charlotte and was beginning to set up his own business.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Tillery on May 3, 1993 and his sister, Donna McDonald on March 25, 2003.
He will be greatly missed by his mother, Mildred Tillery from Longview and a sister from Kilgore, Darla Vigil; a nephew, Curtis Alan Puckett, who will be a pallbearer, from Meadow Grove, Nebraska and his wife and children; his nieces, Teresa McDonald from Lewisville, TX and Kristin Edney from Kilgore, TX and her children.
We are comforted to know that he is with our Lord and Savior and that we will again be with him.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday, November 1, 2003 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Reverend Tom Roberson officiating. Interment will follow. Rader Funeral Home of Longview, is in charge of arrangements.
Other pallbearers will include, Bob Baldwin, Craig Moore and David Lawson.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, 1600 Judson Rd., Longview, Texas 75601.
