Garland Mac McPherson's Obituary
Funeral services for Garland "Mac" McPherson, 56, of Hallsville will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 23, 2002 at the Jay Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. McPherson died Friday, September 20, 2002 in a Longview hospital.
Mr. McPherson was born November 1, 1945 in Lognview and had lived here all of his life. He worked in the oilfield and attended Jay Valley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy McPherson of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Dusty and Nicole McPherson of Longview, Brandy and Stacie McPherson of Harleton, Clint and Melissa McPherson of Hallsville, Nicklas and Becky Goen of Ore City, Jefferey Goen of Hallsville; mother, Loriece McPherson of Hallsville; brother, Wehlan and Ann McPherson of Hallsville; grandchildren, Colby McPherson, Harley Goen, Cheyenne Goen, Nickey "Rooster" Goen, Taylor Goen, Kelsey Goen; fiancee', Diana Goen of Hallsville; mother-in-law, Betty Jester of Lognview; numerous neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Garland McPherson; wife, Peggy McPherson and father-in-law, Henry Jester.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8 PM.
