Garland R. Belew's Obituary
Garland R. Belew age 89 of Longview passed away June 3, 2015. He was born to Chester and Sarah Belew on January 28, 1926 in Tatum and raised in the Blackjack community on Smoky Lane. Garland proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. He was an avid baseball fan and specifically the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed watching NASCAR auto racing and traveled many a mile in his travel trailer.
Those left to cherish is memory is his Son Jimmy R. Belew, daughter Cathy Clay, Son Chester G. Belew and his wife Pam, 3 grandchildren Holly Goode, Mallory and Amanda Belew, 4 great grandchildren Jacob, Joseph, and Thomas Goode and Cyan Washington. Garlands loving wife Jacquelyn, of 66 years, precedes him in passing.
Graveside services will be 10am Friday, June 5, 2015 at Stewart Cemetery.
