Freddie Waldrop's Obituary
Freddie Waldrop, age 89, of Livingston passed away April 29, 2016. She was born September 16, 1926 in Alexandria, LA. Freddie moved to East Texas as a child and graduated from Carthage high school in 1943. She later met Felton Wayne Waldrop and they were married in 1947 in Pineville, LA until his passing in 2005. In 1948 they moved to Longview where she worked for both Fedway’s and Mary’s Fabrics. Freddie was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist church for many years. She enjoyed painting, sewing for her family and watching old movies.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Barbara Lynn Hargraves and Charles R. Waldrop and his wife Janet; grandchildren Jake Waldrop and his wife Lindsey, Scott Hargraves and his wife Julie, Jennifer LeBlanc and her husband Chuck, 6 great-grandchildren, a niece Carol Reiszner and a host of extended family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all.
Her dear husband of 58 years, Felton Wayne Waldrop, her parents and 2 sisters all precede her in passing.
Funeral services will be 2pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Visitation will start at noon prior to the service. Interment will follow services at Waldrop Family Cemetery.
