Fred W. Dunlap's Obituary
Funeral services for Fred W. Dunlap, age 55, of Henderson will be held Monday June 18, 2007 at 10:30am at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. H.E. Gerald and Rev. Gerald Beckham officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Dunlap passed away Thursday June 14, 2007
Mr. Dunlap was born November 14, 1951, in Corpus Christi. He was a graduate of West Rusk High School, he held an associate degree from Tyler Jr. College, and was a graduate of the Kilgore College Police Academy. He had been deputy for the Rusk County Sheriffs Department since 1984, and was currently a Lieutenant in charge of the patrol division. Fred was a Baptist, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, and he had just recently had received his Master Peace Officers certification.
He was preceded in death by his father Sam Allen Dunlap, Grandparents Luther Fred and Etta S. Mammy Dunlap, special mom and dad Hazel Louise and Bill Boden Sr., and special son Shane Ham.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Dunlap of Henderson, son Mike Dunlap, daughters Lissa Dunlap and fiance Larry Carrell, Stacy Dunlap Gerald and Sarah Dunlap and fiance Lance Vinson, all of Henderson, sister Patsy King of Brentwood, Tenn., brother Bill Boden Jr. of
Henderson, Grandchildren, Courtney Dunlap, Colton Bud Browning, Holly Garcia, Ashley Gerald, Bethany Garcia, Austin Garcia, Devan Dunlap, Bailey Bug Gerald, Steven Dunlap, Gavin Dunlap, and Landon Gerald all of Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Flanagan, Johnny Davidson, Paul Duncan, Darryl Norris, Garry Parton, Paul Underwood, Shane Krajewsk, Chris Crim, and Mike Daily.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith Will Graham, Harold Howell, Mitch Autry, Bill Boden, Howard Davis, Bob Richardson, Roger Johnson, H.T.
Autry and officers of area law enforcement agencies.
The family visitation will be from 2pm until 4pm Sunday at the funeral home.
