Fred L. Ritchey Sr.'s Obituary
Fred L. Ritchey Sr. died on August 25, 2022, in Longview, TX. He was born to Amos L. Ritchey and Josie D. Ritchey on February 5, 1939, in Lockney, TX. On December 30, 1955, he married Betty Joyce Warren in Clovis, NM. Fred served proudly in the U.S. Army for 20 years and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1975. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and reading his Bible and many history themed books.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three siblings, and their daughter, Lori Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Joyce, children, Fred (Gail) Ritchey, Cindy (Grant) Schweitzer, five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2pm, Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview
