Frankie Charles Dunagan's Obituary
Funeral services for Frankie C. Dunagan, 60, of Hallsville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Brother Terrell Pearson officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery. He passed away Thursday, March 1, in Longview.
Mr. Dunagan was born November 20, 1946 in Georgetown, Texas. He was a machinist for Daily Electric Company. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and served in Vietnam and was a recipient of 3 Purple Hearts and numerous other awards. He coached all Little League Sports for over 30 years, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and a Jeff Gordon fan. Mr. Dunagan was on the Hallsville School Board for 10 years. He lived his life for his family and precious grandkids.
Mr. Dunagan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Thula Dunagan and Charles and Susie Dickens.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Lennie Dunagan; daughter, Kristi Branch and husband Scott; sons, Frankie Dunagan, II and wife Tricia and Joey Dunagan and wife Emily; grandchildren, Connor, Carson and Karly Branch, Dalton and Dylon Dunagan, and Abby and Sawyer Dunagan; father, Frank Dunagan; mother and step-father, Gladys and Jack Gill; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ben Cross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
