Frances Willene Gates Plunkett's Obituary
Francis Willene Gates Plunkett went to be with the Lord on
Tuesday, January 16, 2007.
Funeral services for Frances Willene Plunkett, 73, of Longview, will be 2 PM Thursday, December 18, 2007, at the Spring Hill First Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Spanhanks officiating.
Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the
direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
She was born August 24, 1933 in Rowell, Arkansas, the daughter
of Nora Arletha Kemp Gates and Argie Don Gates.
She was a member of the Spring Hill First Baptist Church, the Hope Sunday School Class, and was a homemaker. For many years
she was a child care provider. She loved children, they were
her passion.
Ms. Plunkett was preceded in death by her parents: grandparents, Virgie Ann Plunkett Kemp and Dave Kemp; Amanda Jones Gates and William Gates, and infant sister, Reba Jewell Gates.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary Lynn Plunkett and wife, Ginger of Kissimmee, FL., Larry Don Plunkett and wife, Lanita of Sheridan, AR, Kathy Jean Ivers and husband, Tracy, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Linda Gail Holbert and husband, Jim, of Longview. She is also survived by her brother Billy Don Gates of
Bauxite, AR.; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday,
January 17, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The family also has asked that memorial donations be made to
the Spring Hill First Baptist Church Building Fund.
