Frances Evans Summers' Obituary
Frances Marie Evans Summers, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26. Born to George T. and Julia (Tucker) Evans in the community of Maple Springs in Harrison County, Frances graduated from Hallsville High School in 1940. She married David S. Summers, Jr. in December, 1943 in Longview, and they enjoyed fifty-five years together before his death in 1999.
Frances is survived by her daughters Belinda Creamier (husband, Robert), Phyllis Summers, Elaine Clapp (husband, Reed) and five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hallsville Cemetery today, April 29.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a local charity of your choice or to Hwy 80 Rescue Mission, Longview, Texas.
