Frances Louise Langham's Obituary
Services for Frances Louise Langham, 80, of Longview will be 12 Noon Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Abundant Life Temple, 409 Money St, in Gladewater with Reverend Mike McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Frances Louise Langham went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2008 after a short illness. She was born in Magnolia Arkansas on August 1, 1927 to Taylor and Lillian Ford. On October 19, 1944 she married the love of her life, Earl Ray Langham, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother David Ford, her eldest son Earl Ray Langham, Jr. and her eldest daughter, Janis Faye Commins.
Louise dedicated her entire life to her family and home, while serving beside her husband in thirty years of ministry. After her husband's death, she worked diligently as the director of Foreign Missions for Abundant Life Temple in Gladewater, Texas for the past 16 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Cross and husband Jerry of Spring, Texas; one son, Randy Langham and wife Barbara of Longview, Texas; son-in-law Paul Commins of Longview; 7 grandchildren, Shiran Narrow of Katy, Texas, Teri Francis and husband Brian of Gilmer, Amesha Daniels and husband Russell of Tomball, Texas, Paula Hodge and husband Brian of Hutto, Texas, Andrea Fox and husband Ed of Sugarland, Texas, April Stroman and husband Gene of Seguin, Texas, Brandi Lambert and husband James of Longview; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ray Ford and wife Mary Lois of Kilgore; one sister, Martha Andrews of South Bend, Indiana; sister-in-law Terry Mergele of San Antonio; and several nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to the Foreign Missions Department at Abundant Life Temple, or to Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House in Longview.
