I first knew David as that guy that hung out and played in the band with my older brothers, Gary and Ray Gene. As everyone knows he was willing to lend a hand or help wherever and whenever he could. He later played percussion and drums with us when we played in the Christian band The Harvest Band. The last time I saw him was 3 years ago at the Scranton Alumni Banquet (the video is on youtube) as he played the drums for us as we performed music from eras gone by.
The last thing I did when the night was over was hug him and told him I loved him.
He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

David was a friend that was always there for me no matter what my need was. When I first met David we immediately became friends & soon after he became the drummer for our High School band "The Fury's" . David was a friend that I truly loved as a friend and I will miss him. Until we meet again........

I am one person who is thankful for Dave and his love for God, family, and life. He did many things well, had a genuine faith and love for people, and especially his wife. My enduring memory of Dave is when I had the honor of renewing his vows to Sondra. To live is Christ, and to die is gain!

Dave was my little league baseball coach many years ago, and i still remember how great he was with all of us young kids. Dave always had the gator-aide for us. I also remember going hunting with him and Mark and my Dad. So glad I was able to see and hear him play the drums at that reunion concert in 2016. Will miss him.
