Floyd A. McGaugh
Graveside services for Floyd A. McGaugh will be held at Ten O?clock AM Monday July 26, 2004 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Reverend Randy Carter under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. McGaugh passed away Saturday July 24, 2004 in Kilgore.
Mr. McGaugh was born March 10, 1926 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Erly and Nora McGaugh. A resident of Longview for 52 years, Mr. McGaugh was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was a retired Accounting Clerk with Gulf Oil Company having worked for them for thirty six years, he was also a real estate broker. He also served our country in the U. S. Navy during World War 2.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Kristi McGaugh of Houston; Edwin and Pam McGaugh of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Brian Nutt of Kilgore; grandchildren, Olivia McGaugh, Blake Smelley, Tucker and Caleb McGaugh, Colin and Emily Nutt, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Gail McGaugh of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Louise Tucker of St. Louis, Mo.; Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was an outstanding and wonderful person who will be greatly missed by his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Melba Tucker McGaugh in 2004.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday July 25, 2004 from 4 pm until 6 pm.
