Floyce Eason's Obituary
Floyce Laverne Eason was born July 21, 1930 in Doddridge, Arkansas. Floyce grew up in Doddridge and moved to Carthage, TX when he was 14. He married the love of his life, Ruby Holland on August 11, 1950. They moved to Houston where he went to work for Equipment Renewal, where he was in business for himself making oilfield equipment. They moved back to East Texas in 1971 and Floyce began working as a machinist for Schlitz Brewery, retiring in 1991. In his retirement he began restoring antique vehicles. Floyce was also an ordained Baptist Deacon and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Henderson, TX.
Floyce was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Rice Eason and Addie Maddie Paterson Eason.
Floyce is survived by his wife Ruby Nell Holland Eason, his son Floyce Eason, Jr. (Kim) and his daughter Gwen Cain (Wayne). His grandchildren; Rodney Hensley (Cheryl), Chad Hensley (Kim), Raylon Eason (Kim), Misty Eason, Colton Eason, Jeremy Cain (Tasha), Madison Hughes (Justin), John Kim, James Kim and Jenny Nguyen. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, as well as his sister, June Arnold and brother, Jerry Eason.
Funeral services for Floyce will be held on Thursday, August 15 at 10 am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson, with a burial to follow at Waldrop Cemetery. A visitation will be held the night before at the funeral home between 6 and 8 pm
