Floy McCaffity Adams' Obituary
Funeral services for Floy McCaffity "Tutu" Adams, 91, of Longview, will be 10 AM Wednesday, August 13, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Brother Yankton Hatten officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams died Sunday at her residence.
She was born in Colmesneil, Texas on February 26, 1917 to Isaac L. and Sarah Elizabeth Hayes. Flow was a retired beautician, having worked at Glo-M Beauty Shop. She attended Longview Christian Church and was a member of the Monday Night Bible Study Group.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Lloyd McCaffity and Buford Adams and brothers Allen and Thomas Hayes. She is survived by a son, Jerry McCaffity and wife Toni of Longview, granddaughters, Monica Hill and husband David of Cedar Park, TX., and Megan Robertson of Smyrna, Ga., grandson, Thomas Gorman of Longview, great granddaughters, McLendon Hill and Jordan Hill of Cedar Park, TX, niece, Alleen Taylor of Magdalena, NM, and cousins, Bobbie Hopson of Colmesneil, TX, Claudine Poole of Nacogdoches, TX and Ann Laird of Conroe, TX.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hurst, Phil Wilson, Marshall Mitchell, Guy Harrison, Rob Foster and Ronnie Dotson.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Careteam Home Health Service, of Longview.
