My Aunt Kris was a wonderful person. I wish we had lived closer. The times I spent with her over the summers in Connecticut and the times I was a guest in her home were always special. I know she loved her family -- especially those granddaughters! I know we will all miss her.
I grew up in Frist Presbyterian Church and recognized Mrs. Mercer's name immediately when reading the obits today. Both Mr. and Mrs. Mercer were dear souls; and as someone has already said, she was as beautiful inside as she was outside. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

We're so sorry to hear this sad news. Mrs. mercer was one of the sweetest kindness lady I have ever known. I will always remember how beautiful she was inside and out. I have so many special memories of her with my boys when they were growing up! They couldn't wait to go to Lomngiew and visit the Mercer's. She would read to them and play games with them......she was a very special lady who we loved with all our hearts !
She loved her family and loved telling us about her wonderful granddaughters and what they were doing, My thoughts and prayers are with you and wish I could be there for her service.
