Flavious Ayotte Tatum's Obituary
Services for Flavious Ayotte Tatum, 95, of Longview will be held at 11 AM Monday, March 24th in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Lindwall officiating. Burial follows in Memory Park Cemetery. Mrs. Tatum died Thursday morning at a local medical center.
She was born July 12, 1912 in Blevins, Hempstead County, Arkansas to Orral and Anna Dalton Ayotte. A resident of Longview since 1932, she was a retired seamstress for Riff's Ladies Apparel in Longview. Mrs. Tatum was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview where she sang soprano in the Chancel Choir. She was Scrapbook Chairman for the ABWA, Membership Chairman for the Longview Women's Forum, and quilted with the FUMC and Wesley United Methodist groups. She enjoyed playing bridge and other games with senior groups and loved fishing until the death of her husband, Harry Tatum, in 1988.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Lewis Etter, Jr. of Longview; grandson and wife, Bradley D. and Kay Etter of Conroe, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Evelyn E. and William Theissen of Hendersonville, Tennessee; great grandchildren: Ray Etter and wife, Jana of Richards, Texas, Meredith Hines and husband, Jerrod of Spring, Texas, Stephanie and Steven Etter both of College Station, Texas, Christie and Tori Theissen, both of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Debbie and Mike Mosciano of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Matt and Amy Thiessen of Flint, Texas; and 5 great-great grandchildren..
Visitation will be Saturday afternoon, March 23rd at Rader Funeral Home from 4 to 6 PM. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Longview.
