Phil R. Filandro Romano Salvitti
Phil R. Filandro Romano Salvitti passed away on Friday June 11, 2004. He was born September 22, 1934 at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. He was a life-long resident of San Antonio, but made his home in Longview, Texas the last ten years.
He was preceded in death by his father, DonatoUncle Dan Salvitti and his mother, Florence Fagnani Salvitti, of San Antonio, who immigrated to this country from Italy.
Phil was a retired electrician whose career was with the San Antonio City Water Board.
He was a member of the fraternal order of free masons.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Salvitti of Longview, Texas; his daughter, Paula Salvitti Wright and son-in-law, Richard Wright of Austin, Texas; and his son Donato Salvitti and daughter-in-law, Sara Salvitti of San Marcos, Texas; and one brother, Joseph Salvitti of San Antonio, Texas; he is also survived by two step-children, numerous friends, extended family, cousins nieces and nephews, all of whom were dear to him.
Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony?s Catholic Church in Longview on Tuesday June 15, 2004 at 8:45 A.M. with Father Mark Dunn officiating. Funeral Mass will be held in San Antonio, Texas on Thursday June 17, 2004 at San Francisco De Paola Catholic Church at Ten O?clock A.M. with Father Guy Blair officiating.
