Faye Vaughan's Obituary
Services for Faye Vaughan , 93, of Longview will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Johnson and Benny Bristow officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Vaughan died Saturday afternoon at a local care center.
She was born May 15, 1914 at Roff, Oklahoma to Richard and Della Johnston Gomer. A former resident of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Vaughan had lived in Longview for 22 years. She was a homemaker and minister?s wife for 60 years. Mrs. Vaughan was a member of the Longview Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Vaughan, and is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melva Lee and Don Griffin of Longview; granddaughter, Lisa Griffin of Longview; great granddaughter, April Galleogs; great-great grandson, Christian Alexander Clark; sister, Delphine McAfee of Montana and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Longview Church of Christ Building Fund at 1401 Eden Dr. Longview, TX 75601 or to a favorite charity.
