Faye Elizabeth Cordell's Obituary
Graveside services for Faye Elizabeth Norris Cordell, 81, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at Rosewood Park with Reverend Phil Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She died Sunday, October 20, 2002 in a Longview hospital.
Mrs. Cordell was born September 20, 1921 in Longview, where she was a lifetime resident. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Longview.
She is survived by her brother, George O. Norris, Jr. and his wife Robinette of Ruston, LA.; nephew, George O. Norris, III and wife Marguerite of Thibodaux, LA., ; niece, Debbie Hightower and husband Butch of Ruston; great nieces, Leigh Chandler and husband Mike of Ruston, and Nicole Fisher and husband Chris of Dallas; great nephews, Heath Hightower and wife Lisa of Destin, FL. And Seth Hightower of Ruston; great great nephews, Clint and Clay Chandler of Ruston; great great great niece Callie Elyse Fisher of Dallas; cousins Freida Hanson and husband David of Weatherford, Al Lowry of Azel, TX., Juli Lowry of Arlington, William and Vivian Cunyus of Longview, Renee Stack and husband Tom of Weatherford, Christina Walker and husband Matt of Weatherford, Tracy Marpe and Cindy Larkin of Arlington, and Lisa and Michael Deere of Weatherford; brother-in-law, Don Fambrough and his sons, Preston and Bobby Fambrough of Lawrence, KS.; longtime friends, Margaret and Gene Jordan, Gene, Jr. and Cindy Jordan, Stacy, Robin and Jessica Foster; and a host of other friends.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Longview.
