Fannie Ellen Hale's Obituary
Fannie Ellen Hale, born April 1, 1935 in Dublin, TX to Mary Garrett and Harold Garrett. On November 17, 2015 after a brief battle with Leukemia she went to be with her heavenly Father.
Ellen is preceded in death by two husbands, Billy Hale and Roy Taylor; her parents; her sister, Sue Brewer; her brother, Donald Garrett; nephew Johnny Mack Williams; and niece, Lisa Brewer.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jimmy Fruge of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Audrey Hale of Kilgore; daughter and son-in-law, Billie Ann and Mark Barton of Kilgore; sister and brother-in-law Hazel and Bobby Williams; 5 grandchildren, 1great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Ellen was known as an extraordinary homemaker. All who received her gifts of food or ate at her table were blessed with “made from scratch” southern comfort food. Although she was proud of being a great cook, nothing brought her more pride than her family.
Kilgore Bible Church of Kilgore will host the memorial services on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 3:00pm
