Evidine Copsey's Obituary
Funeral services for Evidine Copsey, 71, of Longview, will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 26, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Pastors Steve Coleman and L. C. Terry officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will greet friends Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Copsey died Saturday in a local nursing home.
A native of Cottageville, WV, she was born July 18, 1934 and had lived in Longview since 1975. She was a self employed sitter in the health care industry and a member of the Nazarene church.
She enjoyed playing the accordion, piano and mandolin and doing crochet.
Mrs. Copsey was preceded in death by her husband Charles and is survived by sons: David W. Copsey of Longview, Daniel E. Copsey of Longview, Darrell A. Copsey of Corsicana and Darwin D. Copsey of Ft. Worth; sister: Ora Lynn Hummel of Wyoming; grandchildren: Kyler, Lindley, Amber, Austin and Justin Copsey; step grandchildren: Jerry Welch and Crystal Wilson; step great grandchildren: Daynon Welch, Chance McKey and Sabra Welch.
