Graveside services for Evelyn Tipps Fitzgerald, age 95, of Tyler formerly of Rusk County will be held Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 11:00am in the Maple Grove Cemetery near Minden with Dr. Harold Springfield officiating. Services under the direction of the
Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Evelyn was born November 19, 1911 in Brachfield to Jacob and Pearl Tipps. She passed away Sunday August 19, 2007 in Chandler Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Forrest Bettis Fitzgerald Sr,
A daughter Barbara Ann Box, son Robert K. Bo Fitzgerald, and sister Dawn Tipps Burgess of Nacogdoches.
Evelyn was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She had been a resident of Tyler since 1977. She was a member of the former Church of Christ in New London.
Survivors include Sons & daughter in laws James Worth Fitzgerald & wife Jimmie of Liberty City, Forrest Bettis ?Chuck? Fitzgerald Jr. of San Antonio & Mary Beth Fitzgerald of Henderson, and C. Michael Fitzgerald of Tyler. Daughter & son in law
Sara & James Black of Tyler. She is also survived by sister and brother-in- law Dana & Odell Poovey of Henderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
13 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren, 10 great great children. She also leaves behind dearest friends Colleen Porter and Mae Burks of Tyler, and Mary N. Brown of Henderson
Her Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 9:00am ? 10:30am Wednesday
